亲爱的读者们，大家好！

本周，学校就正式开课了，虽然网课不是最佳之选，但每天有事可做我还是挺开心的。老师们也回复了我关于考试安排的问题-- 大多数考试会如期进行，科学考试可能要推迟一点，不过，得到了准确的消息，我就可以把心踏踏实实放肚子里了。

最近一段时间，在上课之余，我迷上了学习股票交易。一直以来我就对股票还有经济学十分感兴趣。不仅仅为了赚钱，能准确预测股票走向，在正确的时间完成交易，给我带来的很大的满足感。一边学习数字处理，数据分析。一边看着自己的虚拟交易账户基金越来越多，这真的太有意思了。

大概三周前我开始学习使用虚拟交易平台，刚开始我满头雾水，完全不知道如何操作，尤其专业术语更让人困惑。我用的虚拟操作平台十分复杂，单“买入”这个步骤就折磨了我很久。因为不熟悉程序操作，无法更改默认杠杆值导致我多次错误交易，直接损失了数千美金的启动资金，不得不重启账户。

随着出错次数增多，我慢慢开始熟悉这个过程，交易似乎也变得容易了很多。有空我还会在网上看一些教学视频，阅读一些关于基础交易的知识，比如怎样阅读烛台图、怎样在支撑点跟阻力点交易，还学会了利用布林带和斐波那契回归曲线来帮助我做出交易决定。到上周末为止，我每天都在进行交易，虚拟账户也没有因为花完启动资金而重启，我甚至还赚了两万英镑（启动资金五万英镑）。

所有的这些学习与练习，包括股市基础知识，交易经验，从经济学角度阅读新闻等都让我受益匪浅。最大的收获是，我确认了自己对经济学，对交易的兴趣。一直以来我都很喜欢数学，也会涉猎一些经济学知识，但因为没有亲自接触过交易，所以缺乏实际的概念。但这段时间的学习和操作过程让我真正切身体会到了这个领域的乐趣！

School has officially started this week. Although the quality of the online lessons is not the best, it's still very delightful seeing everyone back and at least have something to do and something to learn instead of being bored and doing nothing. The teachers also had finally got back to me regarding the end of year exams- most of the exams are going as usual with the sciences a bit later than the set date, which is reassuring, to say the least. I've also started to learn and trade stocks to fill up my day as even with the lessons and occasional homework, I always seemed to get bored. 

For a long time, I have been interested in economics and trading; there is something special about economics and trading, other than just making money. It's the thrill and sensation of predicting correctly and closing the trade at the right time, the satisfaction of watching your fund grow bigger and bigger, and just the enjoyment of dealing with numbers and watching analysis that I am so fascinated about and even only using a practising account with fake funds, the satisfaction still gets me. 

When I first started, about three weeks ago, I had absolutely no idea of how to trade and how to use the platform. All of the names confused me quite a lot and I really struggled during my first few days and my main problems lied on the ordering process. The ordering process on the platform I was using(trading 212) was a quite annoying as I can't change the leverage which is extremely high on the practice account and the configuration of the mobile app version is different which means that some buttons lead you straight to ordering and some need conformation. This didn't go well as I would usually click the wrong button and loss a few thousand on transaction error at the start and because of this and some early mistakes, I burned through the fund very quickly and had to renew the practice account multiple times.

But with more time and more experience operating, trading became easier and mistakes, both technical and decision wise, are made less frequently. I've also watched many videos and read many pages on trading basics, learning how to read a candlestick chart and how to trade support and resistance and also the usage of Bollinger bands and Fibonacci retracements to further aid my decision on my trades. By the end of last week, I managed to trade every day with a decent amount of "money" invested in every trade without burning through my funds and renewing my account and even made a good profit of twenty thousand pounds (original fund being fifty thousand). 

Through all of this, I benefited from a lot of things: basic knowledge of the stock market, some experience of trading, reading the news in a more economical perspective... But what benefited me the most is the re-assuring fact that I am interested in and enjoys economics and trading. I've always loved mathematics and I found economics interesting but I have never traded nor did anything like this. This experience of learning to trade and to analyse information differently is truly unique and I enjoyed it immensely.
